Last evening this poor little grackle hit my kitchen window. I wrapped him loosely in a towel while the shock wore off and watched him closely. When he came to and realized he shouldn't be so close to me, he took off for the lilacs and, since I haven't seen him nor a pile of feathers since, I'm choosing to believe he made it back home : )
